Version 7.2.2

Post by Programmer »

I just uploaded 7.2.2 with some more tweaks and refinements to the Deck Exchange.

One of these is the inclusion of the Date Uploaded field, as some people had said they missed this. The first time you check to get any new decks the program will do a special update and get the Date Uploaded dates for the deck information you already have.

Another very important feature of 7.2.2 is that it allows guest users to enter the OTZ with an alias and post messages on the forum. I think this will help anyone who has questions about the program, as they can benefit from the knowledge of registered forum users.

As with the 7.2.1 update I have done it in such a way that the program will not nag at you to download it by flashing the save button. I don't want to overload people with too many updates. But anyone who has experienced problems with the new exchange should really give this a go. I intend to go ahead and remove the old deck exchange for good in the near future, so I would really appreciate feedback from anyone who has experienced any kind of problems with it at all.

Cheers

Richard

Downloaded.....upgrade of date field was done nice and easy....very nice addition:)

Preview window bigger...thx a lot....now I don't need to use magnefyglasses anymore:):)

Downloaded several deck....no problems at all.

Did several sorting option... all well....fast an easy.

Did several searching option....a bit unusal to have to scroll the whole page to see the result...but no complain....the search combined with preview is a very nice option to find a deck you know are there...but not sure on the name....just put in what you are sure on.

Well, no post is complete befor we ask for more:)

The option to mark what we have on our own harddisk will be a nice addition, I know you are working on it....just mention it:)

Just and FYI I haven't tried anything other then the upgrade. My name and code was not supplied when I ran this. Luckily I'm 3 feet from my decktop so it was easy to find it .-) Just wanted to warn others prior to the upgrade that they might need to have the info handy.

Strange, your info shall stay in a file that will not be deleted when you remove the program with windows uinstaller, so here must there have been a glitch....good you had the info at hand.....and hopefully will it be a rare occurance among other users, had no problems myself even if I have tried all of the diffrent program updates.

Just to say that the same thing happened to me after I had uploaded the upgrade. The strange thing is I still haven't been able to figure out why. It certainly isn't deliberate.

After you enter the details the program seems to remember them again as ever.

If anyone is caught out by this, please use the Forgotten Unlock Codes tool on the My OTZ page. You can just put in your email address and the unlock name/code combination will be mailed out to you. You can access this even when logged in as a guest.

If anyone is still stuck, because they have changed their email address since registering and not updated it in their My OTZ page for example, they just need to contact me.

As soon as I can figure out why this is happening I will upload a fix.

Cheers
