Bugs regarding pop up notes and saved readings...

Also, the sort doesn't work but that has been already been mentioned. When I load a saved reading, the pop up notes are very faint or so transparent I can't see them. Also, by repeatedly tapping on a card various levels of transparency/opacity appear to cycle, but I just can't seem to grab the readable one.

Hi Lizzie,

This is one of those hard bugs because I can't repeat the behaviour on my own machine. Could I ask what operating system you are using - are you on Windows 98? Also, the problem might be related to your monitor settings. If you right-click on your desktop and go into Settings what does it say for Color Quality? I can imagine a problem like this might come about if you were on just 256 colors for example. Are the pop-up notes for spreads/cards affected too, or just the reading ones?

Sorry for the delay in replying, but my computron died and I had to have the motherboard replaced (thank goodness for extended warrantees!). Anyway, the problem isn't as bad now (so far its only happened once). I'm running Windows XP Media Center, nVidia GeForce FX Go5700 card set to 32-bit color.

Hi Richard. I too am having this problem. It hasn't happened with the card notes, only with the pop-up notes for the saved readings. My settings are the same as jennydog's. I'm on a brand new computer with Windows XP Media Edition, but it was also happening on my older laptop that was running Windows XP Home.

Hi Karen,

I am pleased to say I have been able to fix this problem. I have incorporated the fix into a beta release (7.4) and the feedback seems to suggest that the notes are appearing correctly now. I am probably going to go live with this version at the weekend.
