Hello Richard!

Post by Monika »

Dear Richard,

i have got my registration number and can now use the full program. But i have to register each time i start the program. So i can only use all features, if i'm connected to the internet. If i use it offline i only have 3 decks. This does not work properly, does it? Please give me a hint.

Thanks so far

Monika

Hi Monika,

No, it should not work like that. You should only have to re-register when you re-install or update the program. Is it still happening? When the program asks you to re-register, does it at least remember your username and unlock code and fill them in for you?

It sounds as though for some reason the program is not remembering that you have registered. Could you have a look to see if there is an error file in the program folder (it would be called errors.txt). If so you could try sending that to me at answers@orphalese.net - there might be a clue in there as to what is going wrong.

Cheers

Hi Richard,

OOps, it was my fault. I manipulated the DeckCollectionData.xml in the deck folder by hand to try out another deck not expecting the program to do it by its own when just adding a new card folder. After i erased what i had changed it worked properly and the program didn't ask me to register anymore. Before it didn't forget my name or number and offerd them but just asked me to register again obviously because i have pretended there would have been a kind of update.

i beg you pardon for being too courageous manipulating the files and want to thank you for creating this program. i have lots of fun using it and the numerous features it offers.

Cheers
Monika
