Scanning tips?
Does anyone have any scanning tips they can share? I have an Epson Stylus CX3200 (** printer/flatbead scanner) and am having problems keeping the cards straight and not sticking to the cover. It takes a lot of time in Photoshop to straighten and crop each card. There must be a better way!
Re: Scanning tips?
Hi Sue.
I would recommend Photoshop or another image editing program to work on scanned pictures, color, sharpness, brightness and size of the picture. The less MB's the better in my opinion.
If you have problems with cards sticking to the lid I suggest finding a piece og black cardboard paper to place between cards and lid of the scanner. If you then very, very gently close the lid before scanning, the cards should stay in the position you desire.
Just be aware of big files. You can set the DPI you want to scan your cards in to avoid one picture having a file size of, let's say 15 MB's?
All the best
