User Profiles Disappearing

I noticed that my own User Profile kept disappearing from the list of profiles, and it took me a little while to work out why.

The reason is because my nickname was being replaced an empty string "". In order to show your profile you need to check the "Show Profile" box and you also need to have a nickname, you can't leave it blank. I realised that this was happening each time I re-registered the program (I had been deliberately unregistering myself in order to test some aspects of the registration process). This has now been fixed, but the upshot is that if you have reregistered the program in the last couple of years your nickname has probably disappeared and with it your profile. You just need to fill in your nickname again to bring it back.

Remember to get the latest version 8.12, as numerous other bugs have also been fixed recently.
