Alchemist Tarot

Post by Cowhead »

What a fascinating deck! Beautiful work, Dominatrix.

Please consider posting a higher-resolution version of the deck. (In the Deck Exchange area, maybe?) I would love to see more of the fine details in some of these cards, such as the Wheel of Changes.

On the other hand, you might prefer to have the deck published. I would happily buy a printed copy, especially if it came with a book or booklet that explained the symbolism.

I'd love to make a hi-res version... but the graphics I used were real tiny: some had to be enlarged to fit in the card! What I like in Orphalese is the possibility of making out a deck almost from everything if you have suitable graphics enough (the Alchemy set called for a library of 450+ files).

You're not the first one tempting me about the chances of a published Tarot. I like the subject, but being into publishing myself I know well the odds of this. I can assure you that Alchemy symbolism is real deep and complex, since it was kind of a key for disguising real knowledge and keep it apart from laymen. Thx for your comments.

I also want to thank you, Dominatrix, for your exquisite new Alchemist Tarot. It's truly gorgeous, and very provocative, in the best possible senses. ¡Bravo!

Always a pleasure. The decks I make for the OTZ are pretty exclusive (and some a bit wacky, as you will know). There's another one on its way here... Best.
