Growing From Strength to Strenght

Post by Gisela Rodriguez »

Hi FJ Campos,

I've noticed a strange little error, one which I've seen before in some published Lo Scarabeo decks, viz., mispelling the English word Strength by incorrectly placing the T at the end of the word. Now I see this error in the two new decks, Old Time Tarot (Revisited) and the Michael Whelan Tribute deck. These two decks are wonderfully creative and beautiful, and the marring is only slight, but it glares because it's on a trump. Could you fix the spelling sometime when you're not too busy? Your work is so lovely, it shouldn't remain blemished by such trivia.

Thanx!

You're not the first person tells me that... I know it's not an excuse, but I'm Spanish and English it's not my mother language. STRENGHT is a very difficult word in English for a poor Spaniard like me (it has only one vowel). For whatever the reason, I always manage to mispel it (guess is a trait of my personality now). Your suggestion makes sense, but it's difficult to correct if I don't keep copies of the PhotoShop originals of the given deck (something I do lately!). JFYPI: Photoshop originals of any deck take 40:1 space in hard disk related with the distribution version, Anyway, I take note of your suggestion and I promise to correct the mentioned decks.

¡Entiendo bién! English is such a silly language when it comes to spelling. I admire your work and your generosity in providing so many fun decks to work with, so please do not take any offense. Thank you for your creativity!

And thx to you for your support and encouraging. Still I haven't found the original PSDs to make the correction... but if not, I promise to make a brand new version, and I'll take into account the Marseilles/Waite numeral order thing. I'm rather from the first school than the second, but it's an interesting question.
