Card meanings in some decks aren't fully showing

Post by yuleschyld »

On certain cards in one or two of the Decks that I have will not show its full meaning. It'll show a paragraph and then a few sentences into the second paragraph and then just cut off completely so that I don't get the full meaning of what the artist intended for each of the cards.

I have Windows 10 and the latest orphaliese software.

Hi, have you tried scrolling down with the mouse wheel?

I have a notebook and as far as I know, there is no wheel function on it.

In that case the best workaround would be to open the Edit Card Notes window

and select the option to edit the card you click on:

Then by clicking on any card you can see the full text of the notes in a conventional, scrollable window. It is not perfect but it will let you read all the notes without too much trouble.

Thank you for your response. I did find the scrolling feature on my notebook. It seems that the description of some cards is incomplete. Is there a way to contact the designer about this?

The card notes are done by members sharing them. What decks are you have trouble with? Maybe it's just a bad copy being shared.

The deck is the Second Wind Tarot Deck. I love everything about it. I have been reading for about 30 years and never tried a computer program for Tarot before.

the notes for this deck indicate that the book meanings are not complete & there isn't an independent card note. So you basically have what you have :)
Note with deck:
"The descriotion of some cards are not complete. But theres more than enough information to draw a well founded conclusion about the artists meaning benhind the card."

If you have the book maybe you can complete the notes and then share them <:o)

That's cool. I just might just do that. Thank you for the suggestion.

Richard, I have noticed that I've had to add a couple of additional carriage returns at the end of some of my card notes because it does not show the whole text (even when you scroll).

I'll post a picture when I find an example.
