Unable to share deck

Post by Nothingness »

When I try to share a deck, right at the last step of sharing, I keep getting the error message: "The task has failed with the message with state HTTP 404. Not found"

Are the servers online or not?

Sorry I had overlooked this message for so long. The server is running at the moment, are you still getting this issue?

Maybe I should have made this my first question but what version of the program are you using? The server moved last summer so if you have a version from before that it will probably fail with this kind of message. You can upgrade directly from this link without having to uninstall:

It is very strange and at the moment it has got me stumped. There is only one server, so if you can see decks on the deck exchange then the server is up and running. Also, the fact that it happens at the last minute suggests that the program can initially find the right URL on the server to connect to. I am guessing that something goes wrong in the upload process and for some reason the program is getting redirected to another page which can't be found. Does this happen with any deck you try to share? What if you try to upload a spread or card data file? Sorry to come back at you with more questions instead of answers!

I've been able to share other decks and spreads, but not that deck. I keep getting these error messages:

There was an error during asynchronous processing. Unique state object is required for multiple asynchronous simultaneous operations to be outstading. (in English)

The connexion under jadcente has been closed. A surprising error occured at the reception. (in French)

OK, thanks for that, it does give me an idea what might be causing the problem. I will post back when I have hand time to look at this in more detail.

I think I have finally been able to fix this problem in the version I just uploaded, 9.3.1.4. I can't be 100% sure because it was not affecting me personally. Maybe you can check when you get a moment? Thanks!

Sorry for not responding earlier. So I upgraded to 9.3.1.5 and now I don't get error messages anymore when I upload a deck and it works.

Thanks!!!
