Program e-mail feature

I'm using Windows Live Mail to monitor several of my Hotmail e-mail accounts. I can't get the Orphalese program to send e-mails through my e-mail account. Do I set it up to access Windows Live Mail or access my Hotmail account directly ? I've tried to set it up both ways with no success. I'm doing something wrong. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I don't think it will be able to work with a webmail account. I am afraid it is only really applicable if you have a Pop3 type email account. They were pretty ubiquitous a few years ago when I programmed that feature but maybe they are less widely used now. So take comfort that it is not you doing anything wrong at least. The workaround of course is that you can use the same program window to take a screen shot and then save it to disk and send it through your regular email program. It is a few more clicks but it also has the advantage that you have a record of the emails you sent.
