Need Scanning Help

Hi all!

I've got the Titania Fortune Cards that I've tried to scan - with poor results. They are almost holographic photographic negative images with a metallic gold border. Any suggestions on how to scan?

Metalized inks and negatives are poor friends of optic scanners... Have you considered taking some digital pix of the cards and crop'em later using any graphics software? Best.
