Next P2P Beta

Hi Everyone,

As I posted a couple of weeks ago, the next stage of the development of this program is to bundle it up as part of the Tarot program itself. I also decided that this is quite a big new thing for the program, so I am going to number the new version up as Orphalese Tarot 8. My first idea, was to make the next version 7.7, because seven is such a cool number it would be good to hang around there a bit longer, but I think 8 is also a good number. Isn't there a figure of eight in the Magician's hat? Anyway, the beta will numbered that way. This will carry on the tradition of being a free upgrade for everybody, the change of version number is just to mark a significant step in the program's development, as I said.

I was hoping to get this beta out today, I have been working on it quite hard, but I think it might take a couple of evenings next week to get it ready. Watch this space.

If anyone missed the thread about Windows 98 they won't know that the next version of the program will be incompatible with that O/S, which obviously goes for the beta as well. I will make a final cut of the program in it's current state which I will keep available for Windows 98 users, but there won't be any more development on that one.
