Dominatrix: Check out Phantasmagoric Theater

Post by Cowhead »

Dominatrix (and anyone else who is interested): I added a new pack to the deck exchange that you might find interesting. It's called the Phantasmagoric Theater. Art style reminds me a lot of Tim Burton. The artist was influenced by the Tarot of the Witches by Fergus Hall, a deck that (I believe) is dear to your heart. (It's also one of my favorites -- the second deck I ever bought...)

Some people call this telepathy, others synchronicity (I'm more from the Jung school). I saw some cards from the Phantasmagorical Theater a while ago at the WWPCM, and I was very frustrated because deck was not complete. And now I have it all, Grid bless you, Cowhead. Not sure if it can be compared with the Witches', but it is indeed very Burtonesque. Thx a lot for uploading.

Anyway, and goin' back into synchronicity, it its curious that my latest deck it's also related with theaters and phantasmagories. Richard has been kind enough to put The Tarot of Magicians in place, and the coincidence strikes a chord. Lotsa minds in here are working at the same time.

Not to mention a little anecdote happened today. I've been in a famous occult shop here in BCN, Karma: I wanted to buy a Tarot deck for a fern's b/day. I was decided to buy Aleister Crowley's Book of Thoth (the guy saw my copy and fell in love with it), and I found AGM Muller sells a new edition in three different sizes: small, usual size and original size. The fun part was being in front of two big displays so full of Tarots and being able to recognize 80 percent of the decks in exhibition thanks to Orphalese and Deck Exchange. Not only the boxes appearance, the most common knowledge derived from catalog browsing and Internet surfing, but the cards inside. It was a very powerful feeling... Think about this. Best.
