I just uploaded the latest version of the program, Version 8.6. Once again this is a free upgrade for all registered or unregistered users.
As I hinted in previous posts this takes all the functions that were located on the website and makes them part of the program itself. This includes:
-Uploading and downloading spreads
-Managing your machines
-Updating your email address and other settings
-Viewing profiles of other users
-Creating your own profile, advertising your website or whatever
The spread upload and download is located on the My Spreads menu, and the other features are on the "Tarot Zone" menu group. I hope these changes will be intuitive. Please post any questions on this thread.
Please note that the download from CNET has not been updated yet, this takes about a week. To get the upgrade you will need to follow one of the other links on http://www.orphalese.net/downloads.
Thank you!

Re: Version 8.6 Released
Hi Anarkali,
Where did you get this error? It looks like something Windows Installer might produce. You didn't actually say but I am guessing that you see this error when you try to run the installation by running setup.exe?
Perhas you could tell me if you had the program installed previously or is the first time you tried on this machine? It seems like it could be an error that Windows is giving you when it tries to install version 2.0 of the .NET Framework. There is also a reference to Internet Explorer in there. I would suggest you upgrade to the latest version of IE, because having a relatively recent version of IE is a requirement for .NET. Then perhaps you could try installing .NET Framework 2.0 separately and then try again. If you had the tarot program installed previously remember to uninstall it first.
Cheers
Richard

Hi,
Thanks for the advice: I simply uninstalled the previous version manually and the new one set up fine. It's looking good! Now to try it in Linux...
