Problem exchange decks

Post by Herlinda »

Hai, just bought a new PC with Vista. No decks available in exchange.
Firewall open, port 3999 open, no result.

Pop-up box after opening exchange page instructs to hit the arrow in the top left corner.
No arrow to be seen on that page. Any idea?

Hi Herlinda,

Which version of the program are you using - you can find this by looking in the about box off the main menu. The reason I ask is because that message no longer appears in the more recent versions. There used to be some arrow buttons that one used to connect, but now connection takes place automatically. It may simply be that you need to upgrade.

Cheers,
Richard

version is 8.5.1.7 (latest as far as i know)

Every time i start Orphalese Vista asks to permit access to this "unknown" program.
Maybe this has anything to do with the problem?

Hi,

We managed to solve the problem. The little arrows are still not visible but it shows the most important thing......the list with available decks.

Thanx Herlinda

Hi Herlinda,

Well, I am glad you solved the problem. I understand Vista comes up with a lot of messages and asks for permission to just about anything. The next time I buy a new computer I will get one with Vista on, then I might start to understand it a bit more ;-)

Cheers,
Richard
