There's no icon or toggle for it anywhere that I can find. The only way for me to view the Exchange again after minimizing it is to close off the program and restart it. I love that it's not leaving an icon on the task bar, but it's gotta have an entryway somewhere...? I just can't find it, lol.
I'd posted that elsewhere but got no response, so I'm bringing it here (which is the more appropriate location anyway). Or am I the only one this is happening to? Does everyone else minimize the Exchange and restore it just as easily? If so...how is it being done??
Once you bring it back, it seems to keep a button in the task bar. You can bring it back two ways.
1. Alt-Tab through your open programs, and it will show up there.
2. Right click the deck and select P2P again.
Again, once I bring it back the 2nd time after minimizing it has a task bar button. However if you have Windows set to only show you one button for each program, you may have to click and select it each time. I find the Alt-Tab to be the easiest way to move through open programs, you can also Shift-Alt-Tab to move backwards through the running programs.
Something to note, is if you haven't minimized the P2P window prior to leaving the program, there will be only one icon for Orphalese in the Alt-Tab, as you have to go back to P2P unless you minimize it.
And duh, thanks for the reminder of using ALT+Tab. I had totally forgotten about that option, but it seems to accomplish the task. This saves me a lot of closing and re-opening, thanks!
I think I have fixed this problem of the DE not minimizing properly...now it minimizes, but the minimized window appears at the foot of the screen, not in the task bar itself. This should make it easy to restore and switch between DE and the program. The new version is 8.5.1.5.
