There is a new feature added - 'Flags' which you may access via your user control panel/profile/edit avatar/display gallery. They are actually avatar pictures which I have customised so that they will show up after your username. I have added a general selection but if your flag is not in the list then please post a request on this thread and I will add it.

When you mentioned the idea to me in an email the other day I was slightly worried that the BB software would try to assign a flag to people automatically according to their IP address, which is a typical sort of web programmer's trick but doesn't leave the user much freedom. On the other hand this is a really nice way of going about it.
Thanks Richard! As you know this was a bit of an 'experiment' as it didn't quite turn out the way I thought it would! But I am pleased with the way it looks, not too intrusive. I did look at mods for the board that would assign the flag by IP and agree that was too limiting, besides which most of them had rather extensive edits to the coding, I'd rather leave the board with as little mods as possible which will enable a smoother transit once the Gold Release is available (as you know we are using Release Candidate 5 at the moment)
