I often get this error, after downloading a deck from the file exchange.. it appears to succeed, gives a popup message that it completed.

then a pop-up error window

Error
UnzipFile: Specified argument was out of the range of valid values. Parameter name:length

and then when I look , the deck was not downloaded.

I remember this was an error caused by some old version of the P2P tool, I experienced myself, but it was corrected on later revisions. Do you know exactly which version of the program are using? You know, the About option on menu and the like... In any case, update to latets stable version is recommended. Best.

Error: UnzipFile trying to download

Actually Dominatrix is only half right. It is true the problem was caused by an early beta, but the problem is with the people who are sharing the decks in question, not the rest of us who try to download them. They added the decks to their shared lists using a buggy beta release, and the zip files on their machines really are corrupted. I have requested a few of these decks myself and it is quite frustrating when you receive it, only to find it won't open.

Unfortunately the users in question have not checked back into the Forum, or haven't seen the posts about this subject, so they are blissfully unaware of the problem. There isn't really anything we can do except keep banging on about it and hope that they catch on.

The very eariest versions of the P2P utility were part of a separate stand-alone test program that was not part of the normal tarot beta. Anyone who added decks to their shared lists while it was in this phase needs to check their files are not corrupt. The easiest way to be sure is simply to remove them all and then add them back again using version 8-point-anything of the program.

So to whoever reads this: if you took part in these early tests it could be you...please check!!!
