Another Change in Version 8.0

The new beta no longer shows the message about earning money back as a reseller, or prompts you for the name of an OT user when you register.

I introduced that scheme about a year ago, and the response has been really underwhelming, so I think it is time to draw some conclusions from that.

Reading between the lines I get the idea that a majority of people found the whole thing slightly tacky, and probably it had a counter-productive effect in terms of promoting the forum. I will be contacting everyone who should have money credited to them in order to settle up, and then I will delete that table from the My Settings page.
