An error occured in the spreads - zone

Post by nigus »

Hi,

I constantly get an errormessage in the spread section. I can't download or choose a spread.

An error has occurred which prevents the page from displaying correctly. If the problem persists, we would be grateful if you could let us know via the contact page. Thanks

Please advice.

An error occured in the spreads - zone

Hi Louise,

Thanks for reporting the error. Just to clarify, is it when you click on the link to view the spread? Also, does it affect every single spread, or just some of them - could you give me an example of one where the error occurs and I will try it myself and see if the problem is with that particular spread. Otherwise we can think about what might be peculiar with your internet configuration etc and see if we can work out why this is happening to you.

Cheers

An error occured in the spreads - zone

Hi Richard,

It is not with a particular spread. I can't reach this section at all anymore. It appears when i click on the spread button on the main menu on the left side. Today I uninstalled the program and reinstalled using the upgrade but the problem still persists.

Hi Louise,

Sorry it has taken a little while to get back to you. It isn't that I haven't been thinking about this, just that nothing has occured to me as a possible explanation.

What I have done is to turn off the user friendly error handling, so that when you visit the Spreads page now, instead of seeing that standard error page, you should see a much more messy page that actually gives details of what the error is. Would you do me a favour and take a copy of whatever message you see there and let me know what it is? Then hopefully I can see about fixing it. Thanks!

Richard
