Not Into P2P?

Post by Rhutobello »

Okay...did see that my own deck for share will not pop up :)

Now it display 16 users and 30 decks....have tried all for details...all gave without error.

Have tried to download some.
One show connection for about 12 minutes...then showed error contacting user.
Maybe an connectionbar that show that connection is ok...can be an idea :)

Currently I believe that you DO NOT get to see your own.

I think you should see your own so at least you can definately be sure that you are working fine.

I'm still pretty sure none of you can see mine.

If someone could tell me if the see Madame Endora, Vertigo or any others from me it would be appreciated.

I can see the Endora and the Vertigo, later when I'm home I'll check if I can download them. I'm also sure that you can't see your own shared decks (did them add to the total number of available decks?). Of course, if someone downs a deck you have and share it to others, you'll see in the list.

Smashing Dude. Thanks for that.

I've now bitten the bullet and added the 70 decks I don't use.

Well, the Endora is travelling to my HD with steady pace... Since I've seen some of my decks in the shared collection of other users, I guess they can be downloaded too. I'm sure that, after Richard's return, the whole P2P will receive a complete makeover. BTW, all P2P users: please do your best to identify and add any relevant details to shared decks, this will improve the whole sharing experience. Best.

At the moment you can't see your own decks. I will add an option in the advanced search box to always include your own decks among the results.

It is a kind of strange.

As you can see I have 1 PC at work and 1 at home, both have Widows Xp home Ed. with automatic upgrade.
Both have same language and setup. Both have the latest of your programs.

The one on work don't react to F2 at all, nothing happen even if I first mark the deck to get focus or put it into the pan
At home F2 work as a dream.

It's not a big deal...nothing to vaste energies on...It is just as easy to use the deck command..I just posted it because I did't remember that it worked at home :)

Hi Dominatrix!

My story:

I installed P2P and added about 20 decks for sharing, but my computer start to behave strange and very slow.
I uninstalled it and everything was normal again...

Hi Aurora,

Your experience with the P2P program sounds quite alarming and I can't think what might have caused it. Would it be possible for you to take a look in the Windows Event Log and see if there are any error messages logged by the program? I seem to remember that you are using XP Pro, in which case you can find this in Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Event Viewer (I think that is Herramientas Administrativas/Visor de Sucesos if you have the Spanish O/S).

Cheers .-)
