Hi Richard,
I have a deck that I want to upload but at 7.7mg I'm timing out (4times!). If not, do you mind if I install the program on my wife's computer? She has a DSL connection.
Thanks!
Marvin
Richard, can I upload in two parts?

Re: Richard, can I upload in two parts?
Hi Marvin,
By all means install the program on your wife's machine. The licence is per person (actually it lets you install on three machines before it blocks you).
One of the changes I am planning to make at the weekend is to limit the size of the uploads to 5 or 6 megs. This is a) to save space on the server and b) because really large scans actually don't work very well with the program. The program compresses the image to the size of the card that the user has chosen, but the algorithm it uses to do this probably doesn't give as good a result as you would get with a proper graphics package. In my experience the best size for card graphics is probably about 50 bigger than the size you are likely to have the cards at when using the program. The scans on WWPCM for example are way too big.
It would be interesting to see whether any of the bugs you have pointed out with navigation and so on in the OTZ are resolved by using the program with an ADSL connection.
Cheers,
Richard
