I just uploaded four new decks. It marks a total departure from what I have attempted to do in the past. These decks are over 75 rebuilt! Each has over three days worth of work involved...........

I am new to the OTZ, but I am not seeing any of the decks in the deck exchange that were uploaded in the last few days. I think the last deck I show was uploaded Aug 20th. I have hit the refresh button on the deck exchange and it says no new decks available. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Gail,

The decks get transferred as and when I or Purple Scorp or Webweaver (the two volunteer administrators) get time to go in and transfer them from the pending file. The trouble is we don't seem to find time too often. It is a bit more time consuming than just pressing a button because the administrator needs to do a bit of web research and find out who published the deck and so on, although it obviously helps if the uploader included this information.

It is probably a good moment to repeat the appeal I made a few weeks ago for any one else who wants to volunteer as an administrator to put their hat into the ring.

Thanks Richard - I would be happy to act as an Administrator. I have done plenty of research in the past. I own the 4 Kaplan encyclopaedias etc. I am quite happy to help out in any way I can.

Just to close off this thread, I have had a couple of people volunteer, so with five of us on the case now I think we should be OK. There aren't any decks waiting to be transferred at the moment. Cheers, guys!
