Richard .. this is great.. thanks...
one more request....
in the Free Selection Mode .. i have sorted the cards ....
I Click on the bottom left of the cards to be able to use the keyboard to (left right arrows)
to skim to the correct card and I hit the UP arrow to place it in the spread...
works great..
but IF i Could hit a key as a shortcut to the SUIT it would make card selection much
faster..
(like 'S' - jumps to the Ace of Swords
'W' - jumps to the Ace of Wands
'C' - jumps to the Ace of Cups
'D' (or 'P' or whatever) jumps to the Ace of Disks ....
(maybe 9 jumps to the next 9 ( IX if in majors ... 9 of swords if in Swords etc..)
thanks

Hi ZenMusic,
I have found, the easiest way to edit card data (if it's for a Tarot deck with 78 cards) is to download and use the Deck Utility Spread from our Spreads section.
Sort the cards into alphabetical order then run the spread. It will place all 78 cards on the screen in suit order. Then you can click on each one and enter your notes. There was a way to move forward to the next card using a keyboard shortcut, but I forgot it and I found clicking on the next card that you want just as easy.
Hope this helps,

Re: Deal a Spread in Free Selection Mode 7.5
Hi ZenMusic,
I can see this would be a good idea in the strict context of tarot decks, but I always resist this kind of thing because I like to keep the deck as generic as possible so it can be used with any deck. Internally the program only keeps track of the cards by their index number, so the numbers would have to be hard-coded and they would take you to the wrong card if your deck only had three court cards in each suit, for example. I'll keep the idea in mind though in case I think of another way of doing it.
Cheers

Alt-Tab will take you between the Personal Notes and LWB Notes. If you enter when tabbing on the Toggle Mode button then Alt-Tab takes you backward through the cards. However to start typeing again you need to click into a text box. So either way you do it, you do end up clicking somewhere. There isn't anyway I've found to only use the keyboard.
