I know I've been a little quiet these days, connecting to the OTZ thru laptop and using my second licensed user, Imperatrix. The reason was a massive PC change that left me exiled on laptop for three days while new assassing Pentium D was assembled. I had to start from scratch with the software configuration, and of course, OT was one of the first installed programs (only PhotoShop CS took precedence). I hadn't installed OT from zero on a while, and that's why I want to comment the experience here. The highlights were:
1) Corporate license XP Pro SP2 didn't included .Net Framework 2.0. Downloaded it from laptop and installed on new desktop. Zero problem.
2) Download and installation of Tarot Setup from OTZ. Just some minutes of work, no trouble to report.
3) Checked the installation and access to OTZ. Nice. Exit the program and deleted the default decks, since I know both very well (^_~). Previously, I had copied all my decks, readings, spreads and auxiliary files, from old computer to a removable USB hard disk. Put all the files and folders in their proper locations. On second run, everything was in place.
4) Today I've configured all the settings to suit my tastes, gave a pair of runs to some decks and spreads, and everything runs smoothly. End of the report, best.
