Multiple Deck Enhancement

Hi once more purple_scorp (and thanks for that new help website!)

"talking" to you made me go and look at those Motherpeace Decks and do some thinking. So I'm blaming you for everything that follows! (sorry - thanking you!)

I noticed that the Moon Phase Deck has a hole in the middle and set to thinking that if the "Moon Ring" part of the card was "floated out" a bit to a bigger diameter, with the inner hole expanded to suit, then the Moon Phase card would not have to sit under the Main Motherpeace Card, but would "Embrace it", both being visible and no more need to move the Main card to see which interpretation to read.

I immediately decided to get onto MysticEast and see what she thought...
But while I was preparing those ideas I had another...

I noticed that the whole Moon Phase Deck is based on circles of 24 cards to complete the rotation of the moon each time. Now that ain't very Lunar! Now why not have those cycles of 28 cards. That would be much more Lunar...

I duly got onto MysticEast. She really liked the first idea and said that was definitely "on". Great!

With regard to the 28 cards in each cycle, she pointed out (what I suppose I vaguely knew anyway) that 28 isn't the real figure. There are in fact five different Lunar Periods that she knows of. Synodic 29.53059 days, Siderial 27.32166, Anomalistic 27.55455, Draconic 27.21222 and Tropical 27.321582 days. Which one did I want?
Heck! What a choice! and 28 isn't even one of them!
She pointed out that the influence of the Moon on Life Cycles here on earth is porbably most affected by the Synodic and the Anomalistic Months.
Synodic - the period from one Full or New Moon, to the next Full or New Moon, the most "obvious" cycle and the longest by far at 29.5.
Anomalistic - the period inbetween the Moon being Nearest to the Earth and Furthest Away from the Earth, a shorter period of 27.5.
She pointed out that even taking an average of those two, that comes out at 28.543. "And you can't have 28 and a half cards you know!"
She added that probably of the two the Synodic at 29.5 was the strongest influence. She could do either, but favoured that one. She wondered what other Orphalese users would think, especially Motherpeace users and especially Women, and what with "the Yeti" being a man, i had to "butt out"!

Well I ask you! The rudeness! But I see her point...
So does anybody here have a preference?
If not we're going to get 29 "and have to like it!" as she put it.

Perhaps you have a preference, purple?

She did thank me for my ideas, so I've decided not to go into a big sulk...
