Downloading from Deck Share

Post by Greg the Yeti »

Hi,
first thanks for all the new goodies in version 10. Lots to like and explore! And bound to be a few bugs to sort!

Trying to download one of Dominatrix's decks, I came across a problem. The program said it "could not find a part of the path xxxxxxxxx" of the folder I get all downloads to go to.

Initially I guessed that it might be due to having used a ! in the Folder name (to get it to appear at the top of the list). Changing that ! to a 1 kept it at the top of the list and Orphalese could see that folder correctly, but still said that it couldn't find "a part of the path".

I closed down Orphalese and re-opened it hoping that this might sort it. No luck.

I tried a few different decks to check it wans't just the deck. All did the same.

The folder isn't in the "default" location, but the overall folder is correctly listed under Orphalese's options menu. (and yes I've just seen a few other folders, that I will be moving out of the "Windows" Partition. The Collections and Subsets folders.) The partition I'm using is still on the same internal disk, which happens to be an SSD.

I hope you can work out whats going on. I just hope it isn't a sign of imminent SSD failure!!!

Oh yeah, that looks like a bug indeed. It is letting me save decks in the top level folder but not in a sub folder. Let me get back to you on this.

Hi Richard,
I hope you can sort it.
For the time being I'll try downloading into that parent folder. It might create "Deck Splurge", which is what I was trying to avoid. But I'll sort that later!
