Editing and formatting carddata text

Post by Sunflower »

Hi,
I would like to editing and formatting (bold, unterline and colour) carddata text, so that I can see it when I use Orphalese Tarot and during cartomancy. Will this be possible in future or is there any possibility to editing and formatting the carddata text at the moment. I don't mean after exporting the text to word.

I am from Germany and for a long time I haven’t had the opportunity to practise my englisch, please don’t mind if my englisch is not perfect.

Thanks in advance

Your English is fine :-)

I am afraid at the moment there is no way to do this because it is just plain text. I would like to add this in the future but I can't make any promises about when. Sorry!

I am afraid it is not going to be any time soon. I gave it a bit more thought and part of the trouble is that people can share their card notes. At the moment that works because the format is always the same. The problem is that RTF can't be read as plain text because all the formatting information shows up, so the sharing would break down if people were using different versions of the program. *-)

Hi Sunflower,

as a workaround, you could create the top part of your card note as keywords where you could put the text that you want to underline or bold. That way, it would stand out from the rest of the interpretation/card description.

Hmm, Richard, you could build a Keywords section into the carddata.xml files and include it in the toggle.
