Hello! First, I've been using the program on and off for about 4 years and have loaded all of my favorite decks. I recently upgraded to Windows 7 and, thanks to comments in the Forum, the program is working perfectly.

I have been working some interpretation exercises where the cards in a spread are rearranged into a different spread, and I wondered if might be possible to add this capability in a future release. Currently, if I change the spread, the cards are reshuffled; and what I really want is the option to change the spread and keep the cards from the previous spread. Just putting it out there. Thanks!

This would be an incredible feature. When I use a physical deck, I often reshuffle the cards that I've used and lay them out again, watching for patterns, how a card has moved etc.

It is an interesting idea. One way I could think of making it work would be to split the Gather Cards menu item on the main menu into two sub items: "Gather Cards" and another one meaning something like "Gather Cards into a New Smaller Deck" (I think we can improve that wording!).

This second option would gather the cards that are out into a new deck, discarding the rest. If you knew that the second spread you wanted to do would require more cards than the one that is out you could just deal out a couple more cards before hand.

The only drawback I can see is that it makes the normal "Gather Cards" item a little bit harder to access (an extra mouse click) but I imagine that most people just do Control-G to gather the cards anyway.

That would be perfect. Since this is not likely to be a feature that is used all the time, Ctrl G could still gather the whole deck, and the menu option could be available to gather only the cards that have been dealt.

It has taken ages but I finally got around to adding the "Gather cards to a new smaller deck" option. In the end I put it on the Decks sub menu. Hope it does what you wanted!
