Hi Richard,
wow, wow, wow, wow. This is so cool and will be truly excellent. Thank you for inventing it. I tested the deck preview and love the way how you can flick through the cards. Also, the use of flags in the main window to denote if you've already previewed it is really helpful. I also tested viewing the deck comments but didn't add any of my own. And, I checked out the deck notes too. All truly, truly amazing stuff. So much easier to navigate.
I noticed that we couldn't map the decks to our paths yet. Is this an oversight or just something that you haven't finished yet?
Then I dragged and dropped one of the background files into the Ignore list. It's like my own personal list of where I want to put things.
I see that you can double-click on the column name to change the sort order of the information. Cool. One suggestion is to add the upload (and maybe even download) date to those columns so we can sort to see the latest decks.
Am going off to explore the other new things.
Thanks so much.

Hi Scorp,
Glad you like it!!
Right, the mapping has not been added yet. That will come in later.
As far as the dragging and dropping goes, you probably already discovered for yourself that you can create your own folders to keep your deck information, including subfolders etc, just like you can in Outlook with your mail messages. This makes the Deck Exchange a fantastic tool for anyone interested in collecting Tarot and other Divination/Cartomancy decks - everyone can organise these things according to their own epistemological take.
Cheers
Richard

Re: Re: Beta 7.2 Deck Exchange Program
PS Yes, sorting by order of date uploaded is definitely going to be included. It is the order they initially appear in when you first open the form, with most recent ones at the top of the list, and the top of the list being where new decks are added, as you would expect. But you are right in pointing out the need for this because at the moment there is no way to get BACK to this order if you have sorted, say, alphabetically by name.

Re: Re: Re: Beta 7.2 Deck Exchange Program
LOL, that's exactly what I did, sort alphabetically, then tried to figure out how to get them in date order again!!! Spose if you click to get the information again from TZ they would resort in descending date order.
BTW - some time ago, I posted requesting some additional fields for the deck db to store information about your physical collections. Stuff like when you purchased the deck, for how much, um....can't remember all the stuff I said back then, but at the time, I was trying to incorporate a lot of the functionality of a tarot db program that Tarot Garden sell. Is this on your development list somewhere?
And also, I was thinking about those loose carddata.xml files that people upload. It would be good if they can somehow also be attached to the deck zip files. Was remembering you saying something about having moderators for the TZ. Perhaps this can be one of their jobs.....keep everything neat and together.
