STILL CAN'T DO CARD NOTES !

Ok, I have tried everything ! The program still won't let me add my card notes or the LWB notes. Anyone have any ideas at all?

Strange.....I use the option all the time...in order to translate into my language.

Are you sure you just click with mouse cursor inside the field you will write in..write your stuff..then when finish hit save button?

to add your personal notes you have to choose that option from the 2 chooises up left....don't use toggle.

Toggle is for showing either persanal notes or card notes when you are in main window....not in edit window.

Hi Tarotbabe, haven't been around much with the BNU class happening... but I just saw this and a few things came to me.

You have a card drawn and face up and you F6 to open card notes and it won't let you type information in?
Are you on an XP machine? I'm wondering if maybe you don't have administration rights and you need them to change a XLM file.

I don't know computers inside and out... I just know enough to be dangerous .-) and happen to remember reading about some programs needing to be run with Administration privileges.

There is no card notes F6 option ! It's missing & just pressing F6 doesn't do anything. I have the admin rights already. This is driving me nuts!

Let us take it bit for bit:)

A) since most of us have the ability to edit card notes, then this ability must be in the program, and since you have the same program, you must also have this option....we only need to help you find it.

B) you postet earlier about an error string not found this, in my opinion, happen when you hit toggle button in the windows for edit of card notes, so this should be the place to look.

C) In order to make card notes you must have a deck on the main window and a card on display. If you hit F6 or right click on the deck and choose card notes a window pop up. You will see there are 2 windows here...inside each window will you see a picture of the card you have choosen to edit. 1 is upright...the other is oposite. Up right you will see 2 tabs...1 for card notes and 1 for personal notes. You can easy switch between those 2. If you want the program to tell you only the personal notes when you work with deck...use toggle...and just clik ok on the error message....sure it will be fixed in next ver:)

D) put in the card notes and hit save button down left.

E) If you put in text in both windows,then save it, deal out, then only one text will show up when you have the cursor over the card and that is the text corsponding to what way the card is dealt. Many put all text into the first one...that way you get all the text all the time....i like the first option.

So just play around...I am sure you manage it:):)

When your cards are displayed, and you click on a card, then push F6 you are not getting anything?

I know the F6 cardnote option isn't on the program, just your own keyboard. This is puzzling!

A fault from my:)

I said click on deck and chose card notes, that is fault...it just turn notes on or off:)

It shall be click on My deck scroll down to the very bottom...there you will find edit Cardnotes or F6

And to clear another thing.. the card you will edit notes or give notes must always be on display in main window...if several is dealt out...be sur to click on the card you will work with:)
