Numerical Tarot

Post by jambalaya »

Definitely not fluffy bunny. I was never able to read the writing on the Isomorphic Tarot when I downloaded it for Orphalese but this one works very well on my high resolution monitor.

I wish this was an actual printed deck--I would buy it. I love black and white decks. Guy Palm says the Numerical Tarot tones down some of the harsher images in the Isomorphic, but to me it still seems pretty powerful.

I like it, and the cards are tall and narrow which is different, I always like different decks. The cards notes are superb and give a comparison of the classic R-W meaning and imagery. the Isomorphic meaning and imagery. and the Numerical meaning and imagery. He's also got reversed meanings and references to connected cards.

Why can't a deck this fresh and interesting get published? I find that lately Lo Scarabeo and US Games in particular are reinventing the wheel constantly and copying each other's decks. Why, when there are decks like this and the Chaos Tarot just waiting for someone to publish them?

Thanks to Richard and Guy for offering this deck of depth and quality.

Hi Judy,

Why couldn't Kat Black's wonderful take on traditional tarot get published? Why haven't other equally deserving deck see the light of day? I tend to put it down to: Money, politics, Un-Original/Non-Creative thinking. A few years ago, the Peanuts Tarot came out. It fit all of the criteria: tarot symbolism, peanuts artwork, easy on the eyes, etc......

King Features went after the artist for doing it! Even though he didn't want to make a profit, even though he just posted them on his web site............... If not for Dominatrix and Richard, I would never have ben able to get a copy of it! (My thanks GUYS!)

The same with my Looney Toons decks.......... I enjoyed making them, I'm happy that the people who Live in our little community have a use for them, but if Warner Brothers notices them, Richard would have to Take Them Down, (and then we would go into our own little black market for divination decks..........)

We live in a world where we must walk tight ropes.......... and it's a balance between our creativity, and business law..........

I wish that I could paint a brighter picture for you, maybe in the future.........

Take Care,

Marvin

P.S. Try renaming the .exe file to .txt to see if it will extract..........
Or let me know when i can burn you a CD Rom

Good Luck!

Marvin
