Housewife & Archeon decks >> and Happy New Year!

Post by Uwase »

Hello all,

I've never done a formal greeting here, so here I am: my name is Uwase, I'm 27, and I love the Tarot. :o)

I happen to have two decks which I've not yet seen here at the deck exchange: the Housewife Tarot & the Archeon Tarot. (the holidays were really good to me! I would have had the Light & Shadow tarot as well, but I'm ending up giving it to someone for X-mas because I consider it rings so true with who she is... I will get it again though, and if it isn't there yet, I'll add it then).

I'm planning to upload them to the site along the comming two days (first have to scan & all), I hope that's fine... I'm not sure if I'm supposed to warn/ask first before uploading or just upload?

Whichever way: Happy New Year to all and great things to keep you happy and content all year long to all (and particularly to our Programmer! .oD I adore this program & its readings tend to be mightly accurate too!)

Take care,

Uwase

Hi, I also own the Housewife-Tarot in box and I really would like for OT too.
I think it´s always good to let the collection of cards grow up.

I'm myself interested in the Housewife deck, since the version I have from Tarot Korea is not very good. No need for a previous warning, Uwase, when you're ready, just upload it into the Deck Exchange: you can add any comment you wish to the upload, and users reply to this, thus enabling a complete conversation regarding the deck itself. If in doubt, there's some guidelines and instructions for uploading decks at the Articles section, have a look. Best.

Hey there Dominatrix! By the way, thank you for all your contributions to this site! .o) I've been trying to upload the deck, to no avail. Each time, I get the upload going, the bottom left progress bar moves along well. Then suddenly, it's like it's stuck. It keeps telling me that it's uploading, but the progress bar is empty, and nothing is happening. My cursor is still in wait mode, and the text still tells me it's uploading... Mhhh. Am I doing something wrong?

Not at all, always a pleasure to share things with our little community... I don't think you're doing nothing wrong with the upload. Maybe has something to do with your Internet connection: do you experience any trouble when sending e-mail attachments or downloading files? Unfortunately, every ISP and computer are a world on its own. Have a look to www.speedguide.net, Broadband section: there's a lot of interesting tips in order to improve net connections. Best.

Hi Uwase,

Have you tried again? If it was a one-off it might have been a problem with the server. Otherwise, apart from following Dominatrix's suggestions, you could try uploading a smaller deck first and see if that works (or maybe do the majors first and then the minors).

Cheers
Richard
