Hi Cherry, I remember someone else having this problem a couple of years ago. The problem is that the program uses a Windows font called Arial. What has happened is that somehow on your machine this font has become corrupted (maybe when the computer crashed sometime etc). If you reinstall the arial.tff in your fonts directory it should fix the problem and you should be able to use Orphalese Tarot again. You should be able to get a replacement font either off your original Windows disk, or by copying it from another machine, or by downloading it from the internet.
