In January 2013 the server that I had been using to host all of the online features for the program (Deck Exchange, User Profiles, Spread and Card Note Exchanges etc) got infected by some kind of virus or worm, so for the safety of all the program's users I had to take the server offline and completely wipe it. Because of time constraints I won't be able to make any of those services available again at least until the summer of 2013. In the meantime I have made the program free, with all the links and menu controls that used to activate these online features removed. If you are using a previous version of the program you will simply find that none of those features work anymore. I would recommend intalling the new free version instead so as to avoid seeing any ugly error messages.

My plan is to reintroduce all these features in a new version of the program at some time in the future. At that point there will be two versions of the program: a free version with no online features and a network version which will have these tools restored. Neither version will have any restriction on the number of decks you can use. Everybody who registered the program in the past will automatically be registered for the new network version. I will email everybody when it becomes available. I am also going to add a link to a mailing list on the main website for anyone who is interested in being informed about this.

This post is a condensed and more readable version of the information that was presented in the thread "Website and services unavailable". I have now moved that thread to the "Program - General Discussion" section of the forum. That would be the best place to post any comments about this. Thank you!
