Is your pencil still sharp Richard, as here's another one for your list.
Could you please add Next Card and Previous Card buttons to the Card Notes screen?
At the moment you have to click on the card to view the notes. But it would be really good if you could click on a Next button to display the next card's position notes in that spread.
Thank you

As an afterthought, if you use Shift+Tab to go through the cards that are out this has the same effect on the F6 form.

Hi Richard,
Shift+Tab just seemed to go from the Upright LWB frame to the Reversed LWB frame.
I think that the Next and Previous buttons would be more user friendly and in line with how the Compare Cards screen works.
Thanks

Re: Card Notes - Next/Prev Card button
shift-tab does move you though the card notes. You can switch note types by shift-tabbing and then when it hit the tab using the arrow key to change the focus.
ctrl-tab moves through all the notes (which is what I had been looking for) but the shift tab thing is fine to work with.
however if you click on the cards then ctrl-tab moves through the cards, but once you click on a text box then the ctrl-tab doesn't move through the cards anymore. I'd think this is a bug? I like the idea of having a keyboard ability to move through the cards.

Hi Shari,
Thanks, ctrl+tab (if I've clicked on a card) will move the F6 notes to display the next card in position. Thanks for clarifying that.

Re: Re: Re: Card Notes - Next/Prev Card button
Hi Richard,
I've just been editing some card notes using the 78 card Utility spread and it's really bugging me that there's no Next/Previous Card button. I know this was a request that I posted last year but I was wondering if it has moved up your priority list at all? I also know that you said you were concentrating on other things BUT given I've just called for assistance with getting card notes together, this would really be a handy feature.
The problem with ctrl+tab is that it only really works if you are wanting to display the card notes. Once you click in the Card Note box to edit it, you then have to click back on the card itself for ctrl+tab to move to the next notes. Kind of defeats the purpose, as you can just manually click on the next card in sequence anyhow.
Okay, off soap box now.
Thanks

Re: Re: Re: Re: Card Notes - Next/Prev Card button
Hi Scorp,
I just finished creating the Admin pages so I will be mailing you and WebWeaver about that separately. Re this request of back and forward buttons, I don't think it would be very easy to make the change because at the moment it is set up to work in a certain way. What might be easier is to create a separate tool which can be used to edit card notes, and this would have back and forward buttons etc. I'll do it when I get the chance.
Cheers
Richard
