Reading Notes Against Each Card

Hi Cowhead

I know from questions you have raised in the past that you sometimes make use of the reading notes form, so I was wondering if you (or anyone else who reads this) have any comment to make on the following idea:

I was thinking of having it so that reading notes are made against each card, as well as (or instead of) against the spread as a whole. One change this would mean is that when a reading is open, the notes could appear in popups (perhaps marked in a different colour to differentiate them from the normal popups, which would obviously be suppressed while in reading mode).

If you sent readings to other program users they could append their thoughts on each card interpretation too - obviously the notes would all be editable as they are now.

One negative of this is that the reading format itself would probably have to be plain text rather than rich text. Of course, there could still be an option to export to an RTF document with images etc as at present, but the font colour etc would not be formattable within the program. I suspect that this would not be considered a great loss by most users, but am I right about this? And do you think the possibility of annotating each card would compensate for it?

This sounds really cool to me! I don't think I would miss the rich text. That would be a painless trade-off for me.

I would definitely vote for as well as here. Relationships between cards are very important in my readings.

actually, this was something that I was thinking about just last night. It would be great to have a separate section in the Card Notes for My Card Notes vs LWB card notes. Is this what you mean by Card Reading Notes Richard?
