Hi Richard,
today I have created some new spreads for Orphalese and while doing that I got an idea for a feature request: It would be great to have the possibility to work with and organize your readings the same way than your decks and spreads. When you have done a lot of readings you have to sort them somehow. Of course you can go in the program folder and create new folders there, but it would be so much nicer to have a feature like the spread management. And maybe than there could be a new item in the main menu like My Readings which allows you to open an old reading very fast.
Would that be a lot of work or could you use the structure from the deck or spread management?
Cheers,
Katrin

Re: Feature request: Reading Management
Hi Katrin
Thanks for uploading all these spreads - you are spoiling us!
I think it would be possible to share the code that the spread management form uses to create something like you are describing (not the deck code because that is quite different - as you know, decks are really folders, but the spreads and readings are both xml files).
Someone suggested recently adding a Date Created field to the reading files, and it occurs to me that other good fields to add would be Readee and Reader. Combined with an Explorer type inteface this might help people locate a past reading much more easily.
OK, it is on my list!
