Re: Version 8.11
Hi Richard, I did get a chance to try out your latest version 8.11.2 of OT , and I was able to download successfully a deck that took about 2 minutes to complete. But I have been able to do that only the one time. In other attempts, I still get the one minute timeout problem, sometimes at 62 seconds...

Re: Version 8.11
Hi Richard,
If it helps, my one minute timeouts generally occur when a deck is over about 5 megs in size, though that's not a hard cutoff.
And miraculously, the deck amnesia problem has spontaneously corrected itself! No clue what changed, but glad it's no longer a problem.
Thanx,
Gisela

Re: Is there a maximum number of decks one can compare at once?
Hi Richard, I just noticed something else about the Compare malfunction. It’s as if the card images are all loaded as far as the program is concerned, because after a moment or two of trancing (i.e., watching the cursor spin its little circle), the black screen turns white with a thin but very brigh...

Re: Version 8.11
Hi Richard, Glad to see you're back from wherever, and hope you're feeling refreshed. Yes, the share icon remains obstinately gray. I've never seen it otherwise. I went into Control Panel as you suggested. Orphalese Deck Service is listed, with blanks in the Description and Status columns, Startup T...

Re: Version 8.11
Hi Richard, In addition to experiencing aborted deck downloads any time a deck takes longer than one minute to come down, version 8.11.1.2 also can't remember what deck to use upon program start. I had it checked to open with whatever deck I was using last time, but next time I opened the program I ...

Is there a maximum number of decks one can compare at once?
Hi Richard, I'm trying to get a view of one card from all my tarot decks at once (~302), but I keep getting an unhandled exception error message, see below. Help! Hugs Gisela See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** E...

Re: Version 8.11
Hi Richard, My OS is Vista Home Premium and I use the Firefox browser. I upgraded to the new version 8.11.1.2 and installed the new deck service. I notice that the file share icon is still gray in my P2P window, though I don’t know if that’s significant. Several times since the upgrade, I’ve tried t...

Re: Downloaded upgrade but still cant access p2p
Hooray for Richard!!!!!
The new version 8.10.1.3 works great, and I've already downloaded some wonderful decks. Fabulous!
Richard, consider yourself gratefully kissed by a (formerly in distress) damsel in a faraway land, whom you have made very, very happy.
Hugs

Re: Collections ... a great new feature
Thank you, Richard, I truly appreciate your responsiveness through the years that I've been using your tarot program. Sometimes life makes me drift away for a time, but I always come back to wonderfulness from you.
May you (and your summer project schedule) be blessed!
Hugs
