I think I solved one of the issues. Once I reregistered the program, I was able to save readings. I'm constantly having to repair and cobble together machines, so my working computer changes periodically. I forgot about that as a possible issue.

Never mind! It's odd I need to reregister but the first time I did it, I typed in my name a little differently and the program didn't recognize it as the same person. Once I did, it had me disable it on this machine and activate it again on this same machine. It worked. <:o) Sorry for the panic ...
