Hi All,
My first post here in the forum, and before anything else, I'd like to state my solid support here along with everyone else.
I am a consumer of decks and have been for a while. Although I use a couple of decks in my professional work, I work 5 shifts of 4 hours a week on the UK Mystic Meg (and others) Liveline, I have been able to do a great deal of work with different packs and spreads in order to find the right combination to suit particular client (or calls). Although there are some who say that a PC cannot be used in readings, I have used my cards and the Orphalese in parallel and repeatedly found the same thread, and many but not all cards, common between the two. I now use the PC exclusively while online.
I swap decks in line with a spread so that the deck symbolism supports the position of the card within the spread. If I am working with Astrology, NLP, or EFT or pathworking then I need to support that flow. I need to be able to find the right deck for that flow and the quantity and diversity of decks enables this, especially in the development of spreads, and in the experience of others who have developed their own, for which I am grateful in my journey.
I also use decks to fit in with an audience when talking about the Tarot to the uninitiated. Getting the right language and symbolism makes for a successful talk and lessens the field of blank faces
Once this is sorted out then I will offer up the Cartouche cards as they fit in with Seichem
Take care all
Andy
