7.2.1 With Bug Fixes

For those of you who reported problems with then new exchange browser in 7.2, I have just uploaded version 7.2.1 to the downloads page. I have suppressed the flashing save button because we only just had 7.2 come out and I don't want to overload people with version increments.
This will hopefully include some fixes to the reported bugs. Barbara, could you have another go at downloading? Sue, if you could try uploading I hope you will find that you get an error message this time instead of it just hanging, it might tell us something. Marvin, I hope that you will find the download button becomes enabled again as it should do after you download each deck.
Other changes include a bigger preview window, and that when you download a non-deck file you are invited to save it in My Documents instead of My Decks.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated as ever.
Cheers
Richard

Richard -
The new version is not available for me to see. I'm still unable to download decks. I have ver. 7.1.03 (April 9th)
Is there a way to either download the new version 7.2.1 or at least go back to 7.1 (BEFORE april 9th) so I can at least use the program?
Thanks for your help.

Hi Alisa,
Thanks for pointing that out. Actually it was available - it is the link that says Upgrade but the page was confusing because I had not removed the link to the pre 7.2 beta, which is what you were looking at (the April 9th reference). It should be clearer now. It doesn't specifically say the number, it just says Upgrade.
Cheers
Richard

Thank you Richard. So, I downloaded the file from (Upgrade). uninstalled the pre-installed version (7.1.03). THEN
installed the (Upgrade) from dowloads. however, after I log in and click about to see what version I actually have,
it still says Ver. 7.1.03 (from Upgrade link), and still unable to download decks. Am I doing something wrong here?

Hi Alisa,
Yes, I think you must be. I just did the exact same thing and the tarot upgrade file is definitely 7.2.1. Are you sure you didn't download it to one location and then install a file you had previously downloaded to a slightly different location?
I must stress that I cannot guarantee this will fix the problem that you and Barbara are having with downloading decks, it just might. Also there are a couple of things I would like to try, so when you have got 7.2.1 installed let me know if it still isn't working and we can do a couple of tests.
Thanks!
Richard

Well, my goodness gracious, our dear King of the Divan!
I started a download using our fancy download page and walked away.
Low and behold, there was the new deck waiting for me!
Just for fixen that one, you get three gummy worms of any color!
Tee hee!
Now, I did turn off my Nortons virus program that is constantly searching for viruses and new updates...I should turn it back on to see if this was messing with it??
But, right now, all is well back at planet OPT!
Thank you Richard!

Hi Barbara,
I am really glad that seems to have worked. Now you must turn your virus protection back on to protect your computer and also to see if that had anything to do with it. I would not suppose it did, because that should just scan incoming files, not change them (although it might change a file extension on an email say).
Meanwhile I have been working on the download too, and I now have it producing better error messages when something goes wrong. This will be in the next mini-release at the weekend.
Chewing my worms!
