I have attempted to upload two decks:

A tarot deck, and a cartomancy deck. As far as I can tell, neither of them have been uploaded.

I have about ten decks that I would like to upload and share, like I have started to with the spreads that I have found useful or created.

I have followed all of the instructions.

Please understand, I'm upset at the situation, not anyone.

I understand your frustration, and I am just as keen to get this fixed as you are. I myself tried to upload quite a large deck yesterday (6 megs) and I got an error. I wasn't timing it, but it might be because it took me over the five minute timeout limit.

Could you give me an idea of the size of the deck, and the speed of your internet connection? Do you think it could have been a timeout in this case? Were you redirected to the error page?

I do have some capacity to increase the limits (I think to 10 minutes or 12 megs) by changing settings in the configuration files of the website. Beyond this the ISP has limits set, which is the ceiling that I am referring to. I will look into this.

As a follow up, I just doubled the timeout limit and this time I managed to upload the six meg deck I mentioned (the Mermaid Tarot). Maybe you could give it another go...

Hi Richard,

First, I'm sorry I snapped the other day. It was a bad day all around.

Second, are you british?

Third, the two decks that I attempted to upload were:

1) Celtic Tarot by Lo Scarabeo 6.65 mb zipped
2) El Mundal Medival by Fournier 3.24 mb zipped

There are a number of oddities about my pprogram that I will put in another message under bugs.

Please bear with me, I'm diabetic, and my blood suger hasn't been under 170 all week.

And yes this is the best tarot program that I've ever used!, and my computer experience goes back to the dark ages of DOS!

Hi Richard,

I just attempted to upload the El Mundal Medival deck again, it hit 11 min. and still came up with an error message. Also I've attempted to post a user bio 5 times with no luck. I'll be home monday, I hope that you can find a solution by then.

Yes, I am a Brit - was it my spelling that gave it away?

To try and get a bit further with this upload issue I just set the default time out all the way up to one hour. I don't know for sure whether this will give you a whole hour before an error occurs, because there might be an upper limit defined on the configuration of the server itself, which is something I can't control. But it is worth trying it again, because even with a dial-up connection this should be plenty of time. Also, don't be put off by the progress bar on the left reaching 100 long before the upload is complete. The progress bar shows the what the browser reports, but this can be misleading. For example, uploading that Mermaid deck the progress bar went across slowly for about three minutes untill it had gone all the way, then it stayed at 100 for another couple of minutes before I got the message saying that the upload was successful.

Yes, it was the part about Cheers when you close. That's okay, I'm 44, dress like a biker and tend to talk about divination, magic, etc... until my wife tells me to put my cigar out! Or is it the pipe?
My wife didn't know that I was a senior martial arts instructor, until I took her to a large tournament, and it was sensei this and sensei that, and can I get a chair for you sensei.........Then my kids (all 30 of them spotted me), then it was stampede!, and who are you (to her). That took a bit of explaining, believe me......(she just thout I had a night job!)

Hi Richard,

Just tried to upload the spanish cartomancy deck again. No Luck!
But when I uploaded some collage runic decks (all under a meg?),
they all uploaded fine. (I think?)
I'm beginning to think that you're right, I may need more ram.

(Why did the man hit his head on the door frame?
Because it felt sooo good when he stopped!)

Now, how much is ram for my computer? Surfs Up!

I did it! Sometimes old dos tricks still work! I shut down everything but my fire wall and virus checker, and the cartomancy deck appears to have uploaded!

Re the attempts to post your user bio, I have fixed the problem now. This may have been broken for some time, so anyone else who has tried unsuccesfully to update their details please take note.
