Future Feature?: Expanded e-mail capabilities

Just an idea that may want to be considered for future versions.......

I like the postcard feature in the screenshot menu that allows you to send a screenshot of a spread to an email recipient. If, however, I wanted to send a reading via e-mail from within the program, it would be nice to maybe have some of the following options to do so:

a) Ability to include the RTF data from the readings menu.

b) Ability to access and use my e-mail address book

c) option to zip included files.

d) email template: ability to create a canned message in the subject and body of the email. ( ie. subject: Your Tarot Reading. & Body of e-mail: Here is your tarot reading! Use a program capable of reading RTF format to open the attached files.

I know this can be accomplished outside the program, but would be nice to be able to do it from within it.

Hi Draco,

I get the idea but I doubt that much can be achieved. Ironically, five or even eight years ago this would have all been quite straightforward. Email programs like Outlook used to have very helpful APIs that let other programs interact with them, create mails, add attachments etc. But in the wake of all the work by spammers and virus writers there is now very little possibility of doing anything with Outlook unless you can spend a fair amount of time configuring Windows and Office to allow you to do so. Faced with a hostile world it has become very unco-operative. Sorry!
