Compare cards question

The Compare Cards functionality is GREAT! But it seems to have some limitations:
- Only two rows of four cards each can be fully displayed, and there's lots of white (actually black) space in between
- A third row can be displayed, but the scroll will only show about half the cards
- Card data (LWB text) is not available for these cards
So my questions are:
- Can the layout be re-arranged to display five, even six, cards in a row, or would that require re-programming?
- Is there a way to get the scroll to function so that is displays the entirety of the third row?
- Is there any way to get the card data (pop-up notes) to display when moused over the cards in this window?
Nonetheless, I love the Orphalese Tarot Zone (I got it with Ciro Marchetti's beautiful Tarot of Dreams and immediately paid for it -- it's that good). Looking forward to responses. Thanks.

hmmm....looks like you must have done something wrong....or you don't have enough deck on display.
I have just put into 25 decks and it show all nice and clear in scroll mode:)
Remember each picture represent 1 deck....so it will be the deck count that determand how many rows you get.
I also found out that if you mark card date (the first option) Then if you want the notes..just click on the card..the deck wil pop up, display the card and the cardnotes (if any) will be displayed as normal.
Hope this help.
Yes ....I think it is a great program too!:)

LOL I always forget something.....can it be the language problem:)
As I said...each picture represent a deck....in order to get to the next card for all deck's you use the arrow up right corner...there will you also see what number the displayed card has.

I played around with the options, but couldn't find card date. Where is it located? And I'm trying to display eleven decks. although I can see the tops of the third row, when I scroll down I get to the end of the scroll bar and still see only the top 2/3 of the cards in the bottom row. Thanks for the response though.

Well....looks like I brag a bit to much myself:)
First.....I have no problems with displaying the rows.....the last 1 might be a bit short....but the whole deck is on display...but not much free space
Second...I said if you click on the card...the deck for that card pop up and you get the card on display.
Well it was a lucky first draw. my next try and several other was not that lucky.....hopefully the programmer can manage to do it like that.....but now you have to search the deck for it.
The card notes (if any.....not all decks have cardnotes) will only pop up when you bring forward the deck.
in order to let the deck vanish agein...just click on a open space.
Hope this help:)

I've apparently solved the problem. If I keep the View Cards window unmaximized, I get a proper scroll, and depending on the window's size I can even get all the cards on a single screen without scrolling. Unfortunately, they're considerably smaller than in the maximized window. I did find an ideal compromise, which is almost full-screen, which allows me to see slightly larger cards and scroll correctly, but sadly Windows doesn't remember that size, and I have to manually re-size every time I return to the Compare Cards function. Ah well, everything in life isn't perfect. Thanks, Rhutobello, for your help in finding an answer to this issue.

Well..well...not any good solution..but a help:)
Since it work well among most useres it must be some sort of setting on your computer that prevent scroll arrow on full pages.
I assume you have tried to use your scroll wheel on the mouse? if any:)
I also assume that the program itself pick much of it settings from windows and IE....do you have any sttings here that can prevent scrolls? (not likley since you have in the small window:))
Do you have more decks then 12...if not...download some....and see if you can display next row....
It is a sort ov investigating....but I am sure it is a setting on your computer that prevent it....so try and try...and if other have a good clue....bring it forward:)
Good luck:)

Hi Whipsilk,
I was going to suggest that you play around with maximizing the window or not too, but it sounds like you found that for yourself. I think there must be a bug there as far as the cards not fitting on the screen is concerned so I will take a look at that.
I like the idea of having the card notes appear with a mouse-over too, have made a note of the suggestion.
Cheers

Hi Rhutobello
Sounds like you just got lucky there! The program doesn't try and find the card you clicked on at the moment, it just switches deck. Maybe it is something that could be added in the future.
Cheers

Just a thought.....if you in the big window in compare cards move your mouse cursor far out to the right side of the window...right click...then you get some option....if you choose..bottom do the window display more?
