Dear Richard:
I have to thank you again for all the new features added this last year to the Orphalese. The program is just too good to be truth!!!
I had found some inconsistencies in the last beta:
- When I call a new deck, sometimes it retains the size of the deck used before...if the deck used before was used with a spread in my collection. You know, if the deck used before had a little size because of the spread, the new deck appears with the same little size. It also happens when I close the program and open it again.
- I almost cannot read the card notes, they are too transparent. And sometimes they do not show, or show when the card is face down . Sometimes the notes are normal and can read them.
Well, this is what I had found at this moment. Still had not used the program and all the features. I found something new will let you know.
Have a beautiful day!
Aurora

Re: Last beta
Hi Aurora,
Thank you, it is always lovely to hear from you.
The first thing you mention, the deck sizes, that is what will happen if you haven't fixed a specific deck size for the second deck. The program doesn't remember the deck size before you changed it, so it doesn't know what to go back to. Or do you mean you have fixed a specific pixel size for the second deck but it still shows up small? If so it is a bug, but otherwise it would be a new feature - to have the program remember what the size was before it got changed. I will have a think about this.
Re the popup notes, I have added a new option now, to turn off the transparency effects (you will see it when you download version 7). This means you can have the notes appear and disappear just like normal tooltips, without fading. As an aside, you might want to try changing your color depth settings for your monitor - maybe there isn't enough colour depth with your settings to show the windows correctly each time. I don't know, it just might be an interesting experiment to see if that is the cause of it.
Cheers!
Richard

Re: Re: Last beta
I got the same thing with notes in beta prior to this one today.
For me it looks like it was a layer fault.. If you had several cards out...and they was close...there was times when the notes where very hard to see. I just clicked the card several times and you could see it become more solid until it was on top.
On this version all notes pop up on top.:)
