V7 Forum Search & Card Sorting

Hello.
I am new to your site. but I do LOVE it. No other tarot software is as interactive, meaningful & editable as this one (that I have found so far).
What a wonderful way to study & compare various decks.
Program Questions:
1. When I Search The Forum, and enter a search criteria. It will give me a list of posts pertaining to my question. I will click on one, read it,
and/or read whole conversation (great). The only thing that seems to be missing, is a BACK button to (my search list).
If you hit the back button, you get a (blank search list), and have to start your search over each time. Is there a way to click back
to your search list instead of going back to blank search page?
2. What does Orphalese mean?
3. Sort (ascending/descending) in Free Selection mode does not seem to work. It is very hard to go right to a card without scanning for them
several times. They don't seem to be in any order whatsoever. I will mainly use this software to log my readings (done manually with cards),
then logging them here. But there doesn't seem to be an easy way to do that?!?

After installing the Beta I encountered the same problem today. Before everything worked fine.
Hope this will soon be fixed by the programmer.

Hi Alisa
I take your point about the forum search, that is an obvious design problem. I am hoping to really concentrate on improving the Tarot Zone in the coming months, although the process might not start until May/June because a lot of other social and work commitments are probably going to keep me away from my computer more than I would like in March and April. I will see how many of them I can duck :)
The name Orphalese comes from the book The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran, a Lebanese poet and philosopher from around the beginning of the last century. Basically Orphalese means this place, the world.
Finally, the sort bug has been pointed out already, and that is also fixed in the version I just uploaded.
Cheers
Richard

Hi Magnoy
Thanks for pointing this out. Actually it had been spotted before and by co-incidence (or synchronicity or whatever) I was just uploading the fix when I got your email. For reference, the new cut of the beta is numbered 7.0.0.6.
Cheers
Richard

I'd love to see it either be more of a email list or maybe something like aeclectic.net .-)

Hi Richard,
Thanks for info I wasn't aware that there is a new Beta cut. Speaking of coincidence...I am happy that Alisa found some words for this issue around the time I wanted to mention it in the Forum.
The dancing 'Olympic Tarot Cards' from the final winter olympics ceremony also put some sort of highlight on the new Beta and my spread of that evening .-)
Good Luck
Magnoy

Hi Richard,
Is this new cut of the beta numbered 7.0.0.6. up for upload already? I only see the 7.0 version in the download zone.
Regards
Magnoy

Hi Richard,
I did a little bit of installing and uninstalling now I am not sure if I am running the Beta. Does it still read Beta when it's starting up?
Thanks in advance
Magnoy

Hi Magnoy,
It has a plain blue grey splash screen, which obviously isn't final, I am not sure if it still says beta though. The easy way to tell is to go into the About box. If it says version 7 it is the beta. The previous version was 6.5 something.
Cheers
