Orphalese Tarot Zone Community Forum

Hello to all:
I'd like to know (and guess Richard too) if someone is experiencing trouble with Orphalese Tarot version 5.5 under Windows 98 or Windows Me (valid .Net platforms). Got a registered copy on the laptop (running WMe), and after upgrading to 5.5, got a message saying something about this function is only available to NT, or something similar. The program stops loading then. Quick solution was roilling back to a previous version (5.2 right now) and everything is fine. Nothing to worry for users of NT 4.0, 2000 or XP, but there's more 9Xers out there? Best.

I think I have identified the cause of that problem. You may have noticed that in Version 5.5 the Refresh items had gone from the menus.This is because I had added code to detect any deck changes automatically and update the menus accordingly. What I had not realised is that this method is not supported by 9X platforms.

I just uploaded a 5.5.1 release which has the menus back. If I can find a way of doing the automatic menu refresh that is platform safe I will put it back in the next release.
