For those registered users who are interested in a personalized background, this is for you. Our Programmer guru has been kind enough to let me offer this gift. Use the link below to view MY personal background.

There is a limit to the space available on the Orphalese site and I don’t want to take away space from this fantastic resource! Since this is free, please be patient and please limit your request to one background.

Hi Christine,

I would also be very interested in having one of these backgrounds. I used to have something similar on paper but it got lost along the way in some move. What details do you need? I seem to remember having to supply the longtitude and latitude of my place of birth, and the date and time. Is there anything else I should send you?

Hi Richard!

All I need is your birth date using mm/dd/yyyy, place of birth listing the city, state and country, and time of birth. I have an Ephemeris for calculations so latitude and longitude are not necessary. Please list time in local time using AM or PM. If you are unsure of the time (within one hour), let me know and I will rectify the chart to 6:00 am or solar (Sun on cusp of first house), whichever you choose.

Please note that these charts are calculated using the Equal House method and are intended for background use so the house cusp degrees may vary from what you may have seen before. I can use other house calculation methods but they will not work as well for a spread background but are excellent if you want to learn more about your natal chart. I can also include extended chart options. These extensions show elements, aspects and lots, lots more.

What it comes down to is what YOU want to use it for. I recommend using the calculations in my example for a background or if you want to learn about your Natal Chart using the extended chart. I’ve been doing charts for going on fifteen years and will choose the best method for you. Let me know what you want and I will be very happy to oblige.

Welcome Marty!

Our programmer guru, Richard, has made some excellent upgrades and I suspect that some of the links may have been affected. He is very good about monitoring this message board and will get to it asap. In the meantime, the wheel is a standard equal house wheel using astrological glyphs. Hi Christine, Hi Marty... Yes unfortunately the image got overwritten when the site was re-organised, but I have replaced it now with the chart that you were kind enough to do for me. In case it gets lost again, I have also added it to the Backgrounds/Other/Horoscope section.
