Hi Richard,

I love the card pop-up notes and the way they display when you hover the mouse over the card. I was wondering whether you would consider displaying the deck name when the mouse is hovered over the bottom portion of the loaded deck.

Call me blonde, but sometimes if I've not been in Orphalese for a while, I don't remember the deck I last loaded and I don't recognise it by its back.

I know that you can click About and/or Options to display the deck details but I just thought the mouse-hover might be a quicker/easier way to achieve this.

I am happy to say that I am very in touch with my inner blonde and I don't have a bad word to say about them. I am not sure about this though, it might be distracting once you did know what the deck was. I would have to add some sort of limitation on it so it the message only came up the first couple of times you used the deck, a bit like the new programs installed message on the Windows start menu. I will put it on my list as a nice to have.

I, too, am in touch with my “inner blonde”, but sometimes she needs a little help. Scorp has a good idea. Is it possible to display the current deck name in the upper bar where the Orphalese name appears? Better yet, what about a “history” tree accessed with something like ctrl+H? This could show the ordered last X deck names accessed and maybe the associated spread, kinda like the “Documents” feature off the Windows start button. X wouldn’t have to be more than ten. that way I wouldn’t have to take my shoes off to count ‘em.

The name of the current deck did make it into the beta that I just released, as the text of the title bar, as this just involved a single line of code. I like the History form idea, but the principal changes in the new beta relate to the Readings window and that aspect of the program.

I don't know how many items would be optimal for the history list. It might go to more than ten, but we can always buy sandals :)
